Audition Information

Thank you so much for signing up to audition for SIX: Teen Edition. We are royally excited about this show!

Below are all the links to what you will need to prepare. This audition is going to be great fun and is inspired by the process the Queens go through to audition for the West End show.

We are going to have so much fun at our Audition Workshop at Department, Ryde (29-30 Cross Street, Ryde, PO33 2AA) on Sunday 11th June from 3pm-7pm.

Performances will be taking place on 22nd and 23rd August at 5pm and 8pm each day.

At its heart, SIX is about celebrating the talent and individuality of the women and non-binary people onstage. We are looking for two casts of Queens aged 15-19 years (at the time of performance) to be played by cis women, trans women, trans people or people who exist beyond the gender binary in any capacity, who feel on a personal level that this is their story to tell.

Solo Singing Audition

This music in this show takes inspiration from some of the world’s biggest pop divas and we want to see your inner divas in your singing audition. Alongside the group singing & dance workshop, you will each be asked to sing one by one so we can really see you shine. As in the professional world when you audition for Six the Musical, we want to hear some pop goddesses that inspired this show!

Here’s what you need to do:

· Please prepare one of the pop songs from the following folder

· Each song has been cut appropriately. Sheet music has been provided with the start & finishes made clear.

· You will also find audition tracks which have been appropriately cut. These will be used at audition to accompany you so practice with them.

· We want to see your personality so feel free to make it your own but show us your vocal confidence.

· There are three excerpts of show material assigned incase we want to hear something else from you but this will only be asked if absolutely necessary.

Dance & Acting Audition

There will be a group dance number and acting workshops as part of the audition process. You don't need to prepare for this . All the info will be given on the day.

Please make sure you wear clothes appropriate to dance in and bring a bottle of water and some snacks.
