Horse Box Theatre presents a brand new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic musical, Sunset Boulevard, coming to Shanklin Theatre for only four performances this November.
Famed movie star Norma Desmond of yesteryear has been cast out of the Hollywood limelight. Living in a suffocating world of dreams, memories and regrets, a chance encounter with screenwriter Joe Gillis may be her only hope — unless their volatile affair destroys them both…
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Olivier and Tony Award-winning masterwork of dreams and desire in the land called Hollywood includes the lush, swelling songs “With One Look,” “As If We Never Said Goodbye” and “Perfect Year.”

We believe in making cool sh*t on the Isle of Wight.
As a non-profit Community Interest Company all the money we make from our productions and donations goes back into the work we do.
We will always champion local talent and create opportunities for creative development to performers, playwrights, theatre makers, creatives and backstage crew. We know there is a wealth of talent on the Isle of Wight and we believe that we shouldn’t have to go off Island to be able to have a career in the performing arts. We are making it our mission to provide professional theatre making opportunities here alongside working on high qulaity community projects that give audiences something very special to watch.
